Barley CC was established in 1882 when the Gentlemen of Barley first played against Great Chishill. In that Barley team were two Chucks, a descendant of which still plays.
Since 1922 the team has won many cups and league titles. Now playing in Cambs Junior 1 we also run a Sunday Friendlies team. A number of the senior players at the club have represented the county at the "Definately Past-It" level. Barley has played aganst Essex, the MCC and players have over the years been involved in tours to Wales, Kent, Norfolk, Notts, Sri Lanka and Kenya.
Anyone wishing to play for us would be most welcome as would wives, friends and children. We are a friendly yet keen team and play at one of the loveliest English grounds you could hope to find.
If you would like a game ring Eddie Collins with your box size, prefered length of bat and favourite after match cocktail.
